Tadpoles: Snowballs

This monthly nature series, for young children, is themed from books by author Lois Ehlert.
This month’s theme is based off the “Snowballs” book. By adding a few found objects to snow,
like buttons, fabric and seeds, along with a little imagination, you can create new family or friends
out of snow. We will also learn how snow is made. Ages 2-5. $4 per child.

Drop-in Owl Pellet Dissecting Day
Sunday, January 13th 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lake Erie Marshlands Museum, Brownstown
Stop in anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and learn about owls, owl pellets,
and get your very own owl pellet dissection kit. Our staff will help you work through
the pellet to discover what the owl had for lunch, and we will attempt to put the skeleton
of the animal back together. $5 per pellet

Knitting in Nature: Sharing Stitches
